Pre-school and Pre-primary

The session of 2020-21 celebrated the fusion of learning with fun for the little toddlers of Grade Pre-school and Pre-Primary. Beginning with a Welcome Party in the month of April to welcome our students to the new session, the month witnessed other fun activities like celebrating Earth Day, enjoying Ice Cream Sundaes and entering the imaginative world of sand. Labour Day was celebrated in the month of May along with a splash in the pool, to relieve the sweltering heat. The months of July and August had the toddlers enjoying the rain with Monsoon activities, celebrating Van Mahotsav, Raksha Bandhan, Janamashtmi, and Ganesh Utsav. The students presented their culinary skills through innovative activities in September while wishing their teachers on Teachers’ Day and in October paid a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi as well as showing their spooky side on Halloween. As the year came to the end, the students also depicted their creativity through activities on Water Conservation, Craft Activities and becoming a TV anchor for a day. The end of the session involved the students in diverse activities like Story Dramatisation, Show and Tell and Playing with Clay. ‘A Land of Learning’ was a recurrent theme for all the students to engage in learning and progress.

 
 

Grade 1-5

Grade 1 to 5 students engaged themselves in diverse activities each month according to the themes assigned. The month of April with the theme of ‘My Happy Earth’ engaged students in activities like Fancy Dress, Book Mark Making, Miniature Parliament and Poster Making Competitions on Save Earth. The month of May with the theme ‘Scaling the Peaks’ witnessed students learning new skills by solving Fun Riddles, Puzzles, Describing their Resolutions, Painting Stories and Paying a Tribute on Mother’s Day. ‘Greening the Motherland’ theme of July saw the students making Bouquets, participating in Green Quizzes, Creating an Awareness Campaign on Cleaning Mother Earth and Creating a PPT on Seven Continents. The culture of India was celebrated in August through Enacting Famous Slogans of Freedom Fighters, Kite Making Activity with Values written on it, Hindi Rhyme Competition and Making Collages on Religion Monuments. Hindi Diwas was celebrated throughout September through Hindi Vyakaran Gyan Pratiyogita, Matraon Ka Safar, Shabdon ka Golmaal and Vartani GyanPratiyogita. The curiousity of the students was highlighted in the month of October with interesting activities like Math-O-Mind, Maths Frisbee, Math-O-Dress, Symmetrical Patterns on Plain T-shirts- Ramp Walk and Solving Crossword Puzzles. The Diwali festivities included Making Swastik with Ice Cream Sticks,Gift Wrapping Competition, Speeches on Do not burn Crackers and Bandhanwar Making. The festive winters saw students making Christmas Bells, Rolling a Snowman, Flameless Food Activity, Making Fairies with Colourful Papers and Candle Decoration. The new year enhanced the competitive levels with the Sports Meet, English Recitation Competition, Patriotic Poem and Group Song Activity.

 
 

Grade 6-10

Grade 6 to 10 students celebrated the Greenery of the Earth in the month of July through a Debate Competition “Should Crackers be banned?”, an InquisitiveCurrent Affairs Quiz, Essay Writing on ‘Delhi in 2050’, a Relay Race to Solve Problem Sums and a Debate on “Electric Vehicles are the Future”. The culture if our nation was admired through activities in the month of August like Advertisement on Social Issues, Patriotism Role play on Freedom Fighters, Skit Presentation on Major Dhyan Chand and ISRO ki Yatra. Hindi, our tongue was paid respect through activities like Kavita Vachan, Muhavron ki Satrangi Jhaanki, Maanavta ke Rang mein Rangi Ekaanki, Sahitya Manchan, Doha Vachan and Kavya Lekhan Pratiyogita. The intellectual side of our Peterians was polished in the month of October through activities like G.K Quizzes, Youth Parliament, Science Quiz on Sustainable Development and Mock UN Assembly. The festivities of November and December saw students participating in activities like

Flower Arrangement, Skit Presentation on Diwali, Decorating Cupcakes, Enacting the Testament Tales and Carol Singing. The new year induced the spirit of patriotism by celebrating Martyr’s Day and Republic Day as well as Declamation Competition on Goals& Desires.
